About
Data protection
This page describes how StakeholderWatch handles the data it collects and holds for its clients.
Where data are stored
All survey data are stored in the European Union. Processing takes place within StakeholderWatch's own systems and those of its hosting provider under a data processing agreement.
Respondent data
Respondent records are pseudonymised at collection; no name, address or contact detail enters StakeholderWatch's systems. Consent is collected per survey by the panel bureau under its own terms and under the GDPR. Respondents may withdraw through the bureau, in which case their records are removed.
Client data
Every respondent record collected for a client is the client's own. Clients receive respondent-level data under the anonymity rules agreed for the study; for employee research, those rules are agreed with the works council. Clients can download their data at any time.
Retention
Records are retained for the period agreed in the client's contract, up to a maximum of five years, and deleted thereafter.
